There are three apartments in all. Each has two bedrooms, a kitchen-diner and an open-plan lounge and bathroom. The apartments are spacious and very tastefully decorated in a modern style; they are impeccably clean and thoughtfully looked after. The kitchens are well-equipped where you can put your culinary prowess to use or enjoy simple meals: fresh bread from the local baker dipped in olive oil, seasoned with oregano and accompanied by feta cheese and ripe-red tomatoes. There is a veranda for alfresco moments and chilling with a cool drink and the nearby song of the cicadas.Sunflower - Studio When you close your eyes and imagine Greece, no doubt a picture of blue skies and azure seas comes to mind. Each studio has a balcony which either looks onto the hill-slope of Kassiopi Castle or the courtyards. Salco Holidays was established in Kassiopi, Corfu, in 1979. In those days Kassiopi was just a tiny village where the local population worked in the surrounding olive groves or on the fishing boats. Tourism was limited to a few day trips from Corfu Town and Dasia either by boat or by coach and a hand-full of rooms and apartments for rent.
Salco Holidays was one of the first tourist offices in the north eastern corner of Corfu and started off in a very unassuming way, catering for the more adventurous holiday spirit.
From the late 90s Salco Holidays acted as a wholesale supplier to the UK’s biggest Tour Operator contracting almost 10,000 beds every season.
Over the years there have been many trends and developments in tourism on Corfu and throughout, Salco Holidays has continued with its core belief in offering excellent value for money to holiday makers.
