Welcome to Roda

Roda

Roda is a small but busy resort. It is about 14 kilometres from Kassiopi and 36 kilometres from Corfu Town.

The area around the little town of Roda is very rural with fields and small olive groves. A little further inland are the more gentle foothills of Pandocratoras.

Roda is built off the main provincial road that runs from Kassiopi to Sidari.  Roda High Street runs from the crossroads down to the beach. There are all sorts of amenities on either side and all along the promenade road. In Roda there is a mixture in styles between the traditional and the contemporary.

The beach is sandy and connects all the way to Acharavi and beyond to Almyros with its scattering of apartments and quiet family run tavernas. It is a delightful walk from Roda to Acharavi along the beach, a distance of about 3.5 kilometres.

Roda is an ideal place for families because of the sandy beach and relatively warm waters. Roda beach has been awarded the Blue Flag status as have a number of other beaches on Corfu including nearby Acharavi and Kassiopi. The restaurants offer a wide range of dishes and there are number of swimming pools.
